Environment For children

Who We Are

Founded in 2019 by Kisanet Tedros, Beles Bubu is a creative production house dedicated to preserving African culture through educational and entertaining content. We began with a dream of creating culturally rich videos and stories in Eritrean languages.

Today, with nearly 975 videos, 90 million views, and 80,000 subscribers, we are the only content creators expanding to over 15 African languages in the next five years, with a vision to reach the entire continent in the next 20 years.

In addition to children's content, we are developing programs for women, refugees, teens and youth, addressing critical issues like domestic violence, sexual abuse, substance abuse, youth literacy, and self-awareness, helping the next generation stay rooted in their culture while navigating modern challenges.

kisanet Tedros was a recognized female content creator, community builder, and Educator of African descent who is using their voices and digital platforms to drive meaningful change across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok and Blogs.

It is our hope that this list inspires more women to use their voices, create meaningful content, and shape conversations that drive positive change.

Our Future Plan

Beles Bubu's future plans are ambitious, aiming to impact Africa and beyond by rebranding the continent’s image through culturally rich, authentic storytelling across various platforms. In the short term, Beles Bubu seeks to expand content production across over 15 African languages, invest in developing African talent, and use cutting-edge technology to enhance audio-visual storytelling. Key partnerships with global platforms like Netflix will help increase the organization’s reach. Long-term, Beles Bubu aims to address important societal issues such as empowering women, supporting teens, and providing opportunities for refugees through education, film, and animation. The organization will also preserve African heritage while tackling issues like teen pregnancy, substance abuse, and gender equality. Ultimately, Beles Bubu’s vision is to become a leader in African media, shaping the future for youth across the continent and promoting inclusivity, cultural pride, and social awareness.
