Our Story
Founded in Kampala, Uganda in 2019 by visionary entrepreneur Kisanet Tedros, Beles Bubu Africa Co. Ltd began as a dream to preserve African cultures through original, multilingual media. Starting from a single computer in a small home, Beles Bubu quickly grew into a pioneering creative production company, reaching millions with nearly 1,200 videos, 100 million + views, and over 86.6K subscribers.
Our journey was inspired by the overwhelming need for content that reflects African children’s lives, languages, and experiences, preserving our culture and heritage. Today, we produce compelling documentaries, films, and educational programs for children, youth, women, and refugees. As Africa’s leading edutainment platform, Beles Bubu addresses critical issues like literacy, empowerment, and identity, while uplifting untold stories for the world to see.
